Black will always, always, ALWAYS be a staple in my closet. It’s a color that I feel comfortable wearing and a color that I feel nostalgia for when spring hits.

Don’t get me wrong though, I look forward to spring when the first fall leaf hits the ground. But spring also means I have to venture into non-black options. It takes some serious digging in my closet to put together an outfit that doesn’t contain an ounce of black. And that’s just scary.

For those of us who are pastel-challenged, I’ve rounded up two navy (the closest color to black I could find!) daytime and evening looks. Check out the cheerful spring-into-summer bags I’ve found, too.

Almost everything is under $100. Happy shopping!
